Now for the question of how this color came in to existence.Nobody truly knows. There is photographic evidence of white Pugs that belonged to royalty. BUT, we do not have proof in lineage that these dogs were bred, or used in any kind of kennel registry. Most white Pugs today can credit their heritage to a small breeder in Pennsylvania, that somehow had a White Pug born and then he duplicated it. With many "new" breeds being created for no other purpose than to make a quick buck, and shows zero heritage or lineage, using dogs that for whatever reason were not good enough to be bred up with their own kind. Please also do not believe some ignorant "show" breeders who state quite openly that white Pugs can not be registered, or are not Pugs, but an abomination created mixing with another breed. They are NOT. They only issue chance in the DNA is the coloration, which is apparently present. It is almost like saying that a person born from one black parent and one white parent is not a person.They are the same as everybody else with a small difference in coloration. It is sad that they suffer so many of the same ills and health problems as the regular size French Bulldogs, sometimes more. They are fraught with allergies, cancer, spinal issues, knee issues, breathing problems and other health issues. Royal Frenchels, on the other hand, were created by a number of breeds crossing and allowing gene pools to loosen up the superglue of the traditional Frenchie genes to create an Award Winning long-lived dog with superior health and a great personality. Adult mini French bulldogs are less than 11 to 13 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh 5 to 14 pounds. This is half the size of the French bulldog, which can weigh up to 28 pounds. Face and build. The French bulldog is known for its large bat ears, compact head, wrinkles around its nose, and overhanging lips that lead to the familiar French bulldog pout. They have a small but muscular frame, with broad shoulders and small hips. The mini French bulldog has similar features but may have noticeably slimmer hips. Common color and markings. The teacup French bulldog comes in a variety of shades and colors. The Frenchie can sports light to dark coats, with shades like fawn, black, white, cream, brindle, and pied. Some mini Frenchies have been cross-bred to have a rare color like blue sable, blue merl, lilac, chocolate, and tan. Note that these color combinations are not approved by the APC. Life expectancy. The mini Frenchie actually enjoys longer lifespans 12 to 16 years , compared to the traditional French bulldog 10to 14 years. Mini French Personality Traits Very loving. The teacup Frenchie is a mini breed that has a huge heart. Good with kids and other animals. Frenchies are a very patient and good-natured breed, which is why they are a good breed for families with young kids. They are also sociable and will get along well with your other pet dogs or cats. Your French bulldog teacup puppy will love playing games with you, and enjoys belly rubs and any kind of attention. Adapts well. However, these gentle pups do not like being yelled at or hit, and can become anxious in loud environments. Suitable for apartment life. Tea cup French bulldogs—or even the larger traditional French bulldog—are quite content even in a small home. It is one of the most popular apartment dogs in the United States. Not tolerant of hot weather. All French bulldogs are prone to heat stroke, so they may become weak and start to pant or have difficulty breathing in very hot weather. If you live in a warm climate like South Florida, take extra steps to keep your Frenchies cool. Prone to separation anxiety. Since teacup French bulldogs are very affectionate and social, they will become anxious or even depressed if they are left alone for long periods of time. Sometimes they will lose their appetite, or engage in destructive behavior like chewing furniture. Teacup French Bulldog Temperament Teacup French Bulldogs are super affectionate and friendly, making them a great companion dog. While they are so friendly, they are not a great match for families with children as Teacup Frenchies are quite fragile due to their small size. They are also a good breed for apartment living due to their small size and low energy and exercise requirements. A Teacup French Bulldog gets to a height just under 11 inches .Teacup French Bulldogs have a lifespan of 8 to 10 years. Their lifespan is shorter than a Standard French Bulldog as they are more susceptible to health issues due to their tiny size. There are many factors that influence the cost of a Teacup Frenchie however coat color generally has the greatest effect. Rare coat colors such as merle are significantly more expensive than common coat colors. Many blue french bulldogs have a white patch on their chest and either light grey or pale pink in their ears. They often have blue or green eyes. Cream Teacup French Bulldog Cream Teacup French Bulldogs feature an off-white coat that can range from an almost white color to a rich yellow. Cream Frenchies usually have pink inside their ears and have light brown noses. Their eyes are usually dark brown or a greyish-brown color. Many Fawn Teacup French Bulldogs have blue eyes however others have grey or green eyes. The insides of their ears are usually a pale pink and their noses are the small color as the fur on their muzzle. Usually the base of their coat is tan and there are faint black stripes over it. The stripes are quite subtle and blend into each other so they sometimes look like a dark brown dog. They have blue, light grey or amber coloured eyes and a pink tint on their muzzle. Merle Teacup French Bulldog A Merle Teacup French Bulldog carries the merle gene which dilutes certain sections of their coat resulting in mottled patches of different colours and patterns. It also affects eye colour and skin pigmentation on the nose and paws. The most common merle coat colors are Blue Merle or Red Merle.

At 10 months old Greta was 88 pounds. Since she still has a lot of growing to do, she is going to be a very big girl topping at well over pounds. I predict her to be about pounds when mature. She is a very sweet and gentle little lady with a loving personality. Greta has been easy to train and is very smart. She is a Salhaus puppy from Salhaus German Shepherds. She is a black and tan. Bravo is a black and silver. Gray is black and tan. Based on what we see right now, she is going to be a stocky girl. Tillie is the traditional Black and Tan saddle-back color. She still has a lot of growing to do. Based on Tillie's Embark test, she is going to be a large female. Tillie weighed .I predict Tillie will be a stocky pounds when mature. Tillie loves to play with the other dogs and is very athletic. She is very sweet and loves attention. Tillie is very clever and uses her intelligence to maneuver well while playing with the other dogs. Testing: Tillie has had her Embark testing completed and she is completely clear of over genetic health conditions that Embark tests for. Tillie's PennHIP distraction index was 0. As you can see, Tillie has phenomenal hips. This would be considered supurb if OFA was to ever go there. We are taking deposits on this beautiful girl for around September puppies. We have started taking deposits on this beautiful girl and she does have some female spots available. She also has the Royalair's German Shepherd bloodlines. Her sire is Menard's Legendary Royalair's Natsu. Natsu is bicolor. Koa is black and tan, but she is a very light black and tan. Lady's color has been hard to figure out. We thought she was a black and tan. However, her true colors have finally come out and she actually is a dark black and tan sable. This is due to her under coat being a different color than her top-coat. Either way, as you can see by the photos, Lady has a lot of color. I predict Lady to be around pounds when she fully matures. Lady is very playful and energetic. If you are looking for a puppy to run with you or go on hikes, I highly recommend one from Lady. She is a very happy and an intelligent little lady who loves to have her belly rubbed. He had never experienced anything like it and now his next dog is going to be a shepherd! The temperament of the females I believe is just as important as the male. I have 6 females of my own and about 6 or 7 on co-ownership's at any given time living with other families. Because All dogs need love time and attention It is hard for me to have lots dogs and give them the love they need that is why I have both males and females in individual homes with families. .Feel free to check with OFA on all the certifications all of the females Very few breeders tests or if they say they do no not show you proof which makes no since to me if you really do Click on the picture and you will find the numbers and certificates on the sight. Females are in lean weight so many who give weights have them 10 to 20 lbs over so these females are large bigger the the average male German shepherd,but in choosing pups, choose for temper first not size. Temper is what you live with. SEE Retired females for more ancestors All females retire between 4 and 6 years of after 30 years of breeding I have found it is much better to start them earlier and stop breeding by 5 years of at that age. I do this full time and having more then 10 dogs here , even full time I barely have enough time for them all. .I belive this is the best way to expand and still do what is BEST for the dogs.I choose these females below because they are what I am looking for to improve the breed. It gives an estimate of the risk for painful osteoarthritis OA of canine hip dysplasia CHD later in life. With this information, preventive and palliative strategies can be recommended by the PennHIP-trained veterinarian. It has been extremely helpful to me as a breeder to OFA-certify my dogs. If the breeders have been breeding a long time you should see lots of names.You are supporting puppy mills if you buy a dog with these registries as they are mainly for puppy mill breeders, You know what you get with AKC because of record inspections and DNA. All Buyers should beware! Both are breeding females that are not German Shepherds they looked like husky crosses but are registering them as German Shepherds and the registry does not care. I have personally seen it and so have many others. Are you looking for size? Here are some pointers! Most breeders of large german shepherds exaggerate by 50 lbs and several inches or more! Vet certified weight means nothing if you can't call the vet! Size means little if temper , health and longevity are not there!
