There are typically between 35 and 45 dogs in our program at any given time — some will stay with us longer than others as they overcome their medical or behavioral challenges. There are many more dogs in need of foster homes than what is shown on this page. Fostering is a great way to find the perfect dog for your household. Foster volunteers get to select which dogs they are willing or able to foster, and then they get first choice as to whether to adopt once the dog is ready for adoption.
