Putting Down a Deposit Puppy reservations are taken in order of the dates that deposits are made. However, it is transferable to another litter or available dog. Your deposit is good for six weeks from the date it was received. Deposits can be made with personal check, or cash. When the Puppies are Born The first couple days are very busy for us as our mothers get settled in with the puppies so please be patient with us as she and the puppies are our first priority at this time. Depending on the circumstances, we may be too busy to reach out to you for a couple days so we can give our mothers and puppies our full attention. While we would love to welcome everybody to be part of welcoming puppies to the world it is not safe to expose them to too much too early. Puppies cannot be seen until they are 6 weeks because their immune system is still too vulnerable. In addition, pictures will be posted on the website and Facebook. After the 6 week period you are welcome to come to the home and see the puppies by scheduled appointment. As stated puppies are chosen in the order in which deposits were made. At 6 weeks of age puppies are available to be seen and chosen and full payment is due. These dogs are fond of people and love to be around them, and hence, it is tough for them to cope with solitude. They need the company of the owners, and in return, expect their care and attention. With all these graces and goodness, they are perfect for first-time dog owners. This large breed is comfortable living in apartments, provided you help them meet their regular exercise needs. Care Exercise These active dogs have a high level of energy, which they can burn down by sufficient amount of exercise. They also love swimming. But be present with them when they do. Let them know people and mingle with your children and other pets at home, and practice obedience. This should work. They would grow up to a happy dog without much anxiety and concern of its surroundings. Teach them tricks like retrieving, and enthuse them in agility games like flyball, Frisbee, etc. Do take the lead and let your dog follow you. But insist on sober and gentle training methods. Praise them as they succeed, give them treats, toys and gifts. However, if you choose dry dog foods, do stick to high-quality foods only, and those that are meant for the dogs of its size and energy.
