My ladbradoodle is a standard medium and has worn a medium sized collar since she was 4months or so! It's adjustable so it has lasted even until now. The large is way too big for her! I have only just bought a reflective collar so she can be seen in the dark. Maisy hasn't had any problems with these which are made of polyester. As for her lead she has 3!
