A dog cannot feel at home unless he has his own dog house in your house. Luckily, as per the statistics, we are moving from big to medium or small size dogs and thus we do not need a huge dog house. Get a cardboard box or sheet First of all, you need to get an unused cardboard box or sheet as per the size of your dog. Make sure that you get the measurements of your dog. Your doghouse cardboard or cardboard sheets must be big enough to accommodate the full length, width, and height of your dog. This is just to make sure that your pet enjoys enough room. Get other material Apart from cardboard, you need colors or wallpaper, tape or glue, scissors, scale and a strong net. Get the two sheets that you cut for the roof and bring them together forming a triangle. Now, tape the roof from the inside. Again use duct tape or some other sturdier tape. If you think that you do likes to mess up with things, make sure to use some high-quality glue. Now you can see that you have the initial shape of a dog house. However, there are no windows and no door. Plus you see that where the front and rear walls meet with the roof, there are two big triangular holes. Use the tape or glue to paste the net color of your choice and give your dog a beautiful window with lots of ventilation. Last, but not the least, draw a door on the front wall this step should be done before you ever glue or tape the front wall cardboard with others and use scissors to make a door. Remember, it is not a dollhouse, so by the door, I mean a half oval-shaped hole in the front wall. Now paint the walls and roof, or apply a wallpaper to make it look like a home sweet home. And it was just goldens she responded to. A golden retriever. Way beyond our budget. We were living paycheck to paycheck. And we lived in an apartment with no yard—not the kind of place for a big, active dog. Besides the initial cost, there would be food and vet bills. He wanted Hailey to be healthy and happy as much as I did. But he was practical. I already worked full-time taking care of a child with disabilities, an ideal job because I could watch Hailey at the same time. Hailey kept talking the whole time about her dog: what she would name it, how much she would love it. At one point, the anesthesiologist had to tell her to slow down and take a breath. The surgery went smoothly, and three days later Hailey came home. But the journey to get her dog was only just beginning. I picked up odd jobs. I walked dogs, cleaned houses, worked for an on-call nanny agency at night while Gary watched the kids. Every Sunday night, we would empty the jar and count the money so we could see our progress. So if you're a person and you're reading this, the answer is most likely no. I've heard a lot of people advise against it because they think that working line dogs are more aggressive. But actually, the opposite is true. Most dogs bite out of fear, and most well-bred working line dogs don't fear much, so they're far less likely to become a fear biter. Now that that myth is dispelled, why aren't working line dogs for everyone? Yes, you'll get a pup that's from health tested parents which will drive up the price a bit, and that's definitely worth it. But what really drives the price up is paying for knowledge. It is far more difficult than one might think to consistently produce puppies that have the drive to make good working dogs as adults. It takes study, training, time and money to pull off. A lot of it. You're paying for that acquired knowledge, a higher chance of getting a healthy puppy, and most importantly you're paying for working ability. If you have no plans to work your dog, paying for working ability feels like an unnecessary feature for many.
