Firstly, you need to remember that your puppy has only had 1 vaccination and therefore, it is very dangerous to take the puppy out to public places where a lot of people will be tempted to touch him or her. Also, do not take them to any public grass areas such as dog parks until the puppy has received all of their vaccines this puts the puppy at risk of contracting issues from other animals. Hold and cuddle the puppy as much as you can to help with the bonding and they will learn to want cuddles. Expect that there will be a few accidents until they learn the acceptable dog run area.
