Should the animal be injured in any way, the entire adoption fee is forfeit, and depending on the level of injury the adopter may be liable for vet costs incurred. If within 7 days after the date the adopter takes possession of the animal, if it is decided that the animal is not a good fit, the adopter MUST contact the rescue to make arrangements to surrender their animal. Do NOT drop off an animal unannounced please. The rescue must be given adequate time to find a place for the animal to be transferred to.
