The vet began treating her for pancreatitis, but after two days, she showed no signs of improvement. She was brought to an emergency vet clinic, where more tests were done, but the cause of her sickness still remained a mystery. The day before Christmas Eve, we knew we had to bring her to the only other people who could give her more help. After a few more tests, the vets concluded Tracy was only suffering from one thing: starvation. After four days in their care, she had improved enough to move to an experienced foster home that frequently works with Adopt A Boxer. Although experiencing a house for the first time was scary, Tracy has found comfort in her foster siblings and is getting more confident each day. We knew even getting a diagnosis for Harley would be beyond our means, let alone the cost of his care and treatment after the diagnosis. Once Harley was in our care and we saw his fighting spirit, his battle became ours. Harley is such a trooper, with such an incredible spirit he deserved a chance to live. After diagnostics and a MRI Harley appeared to have had a hemorrhage in his spinal cord that caused a clot and burst.
