This is a problem in more common in large breed dogs, but small breed dogs are not immune. Hip Dysplasia causes the hip joints to form improperly and leads to arthritis. If your Bulldog is limping on its back legs or having trouble using its back legs or struggles to get up after lying down it could be a sign of this disease developing.
