More than 30 cockapoo dogs were left at one animal charity in Wales alone last week, highlighting a wider issue that has left animal shelters across the UK in crisis as they deal with overwhelming numbers of dumped pets. It was the latest in a string of similar incident in recent months, where young dogs have been abandoned by backyard breeders and owners - either left at the roadside or outside rescue centres.
