My name is Cody! I had a bit of a rough start to life before coming in to care due to being attacked by other dogs. MUR came to get me and had some great doctors tend to my wounds and now I'm all ready to find my forever home. I am fully crate and house trained, so no worries there and I've been working hard on my leash manners as I can be reactive on walks. On good days I may not react to anything, but on bad days I may react to cars, dogs that react to me and skateboarders. I am learning to "shake it off" more now and have been consistently improving. I have been taking CBD oil and it has definitely helped me chill out. My foster parents say that I'm a super sweet guys who just wants to be a lap dog all the time. It's true, I love cuddles all the time and hanging out on the couch at night with you is my favourite. During the day I love to chase balls and play in the yard. I would love it if you could help me keep working on that! I have done a lot of training lately and have participated in an online class with Pliant Pack Dog Training. I'm hoping that my new family will continue taking courses with me so I can keep growing and learning. I can be reactive but it has gotten so much better already, I just need some help to learn that cars and other dogs aren't so scary. I do best with positive reinforcement and someone who will talk to me when scary stuff is happening around me so that I know I'll be ok.
