The Different Types of Poodles To start, we need to know that there are three main types of poodles: toy, miniature and standard poodles. Toy poodles The smallest of the three would be a toy poodle. A toy poodle can reach a height of 25 cm and a weight of 3 - 4 kg. Miniature poodle A miniature poodle is the second smallest among the three.
