He is a standard F1b but will be big as both parents are big and he has huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge paws!!! He's now 18 weeks and getting bigger by the week. He is growing fast so I am glad we went for the bigger size. We use the vetbed wooly matt folded in half as he likes to move from the soft side to the metal floor of the crate as he gets warm - bless He was also used to this as again our breeder uses this. It's excellent as the moisture does not sit on the top and I chuck it in the washing machine and a quick whizz in the dryer and as good as new. On the first night we took him home I put a training pad in there just in cas and he did have to go. I took it out from then onwards and apart from once in 6 weeks is dry all night and during the day when he has his sleeps. I did start using the water bowl but he used it as a toy The crate is by out 2 sofas and again a wall so closed in at 3 sides so makes it a good den for him and he knew we were near when we were getting him used to it.
