Lymphosarcoma: This is one of the most common cancers seen in dogs and can be found in various parts of the body such as the spleen, gastrointestinal tract, lymph nodes, liver, and bone marrow. The cancer can be treated with chemotherapy. Hemangiosarcoma: This form of malignant cancer is found in the lining of blood vessels as well as the spleen.
