That is where the change took place, breeders whose interest is in showing their dogs bred a certain type of dog based on a certain look and you will even notice a difference between show dogs in the UK, US, Canada and Australia. Similarly, the different style of shooting in each country you will find a difference between the dogs from these countries in look and characteristics in the UK, Canada and the US. A hundred years in dog breeding is a very long time as a new generation of dogs can be established every two or three years, hence the difference from all over the world. Most people in Australia recognise and relate to the show goldens in Australia, with field Goldens still very rare. Drummer has been doing it for the last couple years, he is totally amazing at it, he knows the dementia patients and pushes into them to get his cuddles. I personally love the obedience competitions, they are a true test of your training, so many people love telling how good their dogs are but very few put them on the line in a competition. Of high importance is that the parents have had their Hips and Elbows X-rayed and below the breed average, their eyes and hearts have been cleared by specialists and not carrying potential genetic issues and finally they have been DNA cleared of any potential inheritance genetic diseases. Ask people that have bought from a particular breeder their experience from the breeder and how the dogs are. Jump on their Instagram or Facebook and ask previous owners their experience of the puppies they have bought. He loves to snuggle and give kisses playful and social he is also very laid back for a mini poodle and very gentle. Marshall gets along with Jack because they are both laid back and easy going. Mini Bernedoodles and Sarge We wanted a Mini Poodle we could use in our Tiny Bernedoodle program and still be able to consistently produce puppies that were calm and docile like the Bernese mountain dog. We looked for a breeder that specialized in calm temperaments in their Mini Poodle breeding program. We did not want a Mini Poodle with off the wall energy or a poodle that would bark excessively. We wanted a calm easy going quiet temperament. We needed a Mini poodle that was tall enough to produce Mini Bernedoodles with the desired build. We needed to make sure that our mini poodle would not have short legs and a long body like so many toy and mini poodles tend to have. We picked Sarge because even as a young puppy you could tell he would have a good proportion. He is a good height for his size. Poodle No matter the size, Poodles have a playful but dignified personality and keen intelligence. The poodle is no snob, they are people-friendly dogs who want to stay close to their families and are always up for a good game. Poodles have a goofy streak and love to play, but they are also eager to please. Australian Labradoodle The ALD was created in Australia by mixing labrador, poodle, irish water spaniel and cocker spaniel. The Australian Labradoodle is an intelligent dog with a gentle loving temperament that is social, curious and clever. They are athletic, energetic and love to run, swim, fetch or be a couch potato. This pairing is low to minimal shedding and allergy friendly. F1B and 2nd gens will be any type of F1 bernedoodle bred back to a poodle. Origin Hybrid dogs have been in existence for many years, so the first crossing of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle may have occurred long ago. The breeder who claims to have been the first to intentionally breed Bernedoodles, however, is Sherry Rupke of SwissRidge Kennels. Rupke bred her first litter of two Bernedoodles in and has since developed a breeding program around this hybrid breed. It is possible to have a Bernedoodle with more or less than 50 percent of each parent breed in its heritage if a first-generation Bernedoodle is mated with either a Poodle or a Bernese Mountain Dog. Bernedoodles are playful and affectionate — they do well with children and they love to spend time with their families. Toy and mini Bernedoodles should be offered a dog food formulated for small-breed dogs while the standard Bernedoodle should be fed a large-breed formula. Training When they are still young, some Bernedoodles can be a little bit headstrong — this is particularly true of the toy and mini versions.
