The tan patches will appear mainly around the eyes, muzzle, and front legs. Irish Pied is a variation of the Pied pattern. A Frenchie is referred to as Irish Pied when he has a dark back and white belly. Irish Pied French Bulldogs may also have a white neck, mask, and feet. The color may be blue or red. Black brindle Pied French Bulldog The Brindle pattern refers to a light base coat with dark vertical lines. Such a Frenchie will have little or no color on his body other than white. Black and tan Pied French Bulldog This Frenchie will have a black and white coat with tan patches on specific areas of his body. A true cream Frenchie will look slightly off white throughout — solid color. Its a recessive dilute from the fawn coat.
