They named the dogs Leroy and Winchester. Both the dogs are living their best lives with their loving owner in Raleigh, North Carolina. The couple had fostered many dogs and had generously loved all their pets. However, when Rosie, a Golden Retriever, arrived at her foster home, she was pregnant. Now that was something special for the couple as the mama dog would require a lot of nourishment and care. However, the biggest challenge was the birth process and caring for the young ones for at least 8 weeks to be strong and healthy. It was a huge responsibility, and John and Katie did an excellent job. The young puppies were born healthy, and the mama dog was also in perfect health. After a lot of research and DNA analysis, they found that the markings on the puppies were of an American Foxhound. Hence, John and Katie now knew who the daddy was.
