When they do, their eyes are most likely to be a foggy blue in color. As your puppy grows their eyes will get darker based on the concentration of melanin in their eyes. The rarest color of German Shepherd is Isabella, which is also known as lilac. Not only is this color visually appealing, but it is also difficult to predict when breeding. The recessive blue and liver getting combined are not very likely, which makes almost all Isabella shepherds pleasant surprises.
