We can look at the characteristics of a modern Golden Retriever and discern what temperament and abilities Lord Tweedmouth was looking for. However, there are some distinct differences between the American Golden Retriever and the British line. But I got puppy fever and haven't had any puppies for the past year and half and look where we are! And in this next week, they will start on puppy food food is a loose term.Week 4 The puppies are now sporting collars! They always sit and try to scratch it off when they first get the collar on. So now we have all 3 wood slates in so they can't get out anymore. That's always a measure of them growing when they can start to escape their box. They get their shots on April 11th and 12th. Our labradors are not just dogs.Before you get too impressed with any dogs titles, ask questions, as some breeders use registries other than, or in addition to AKC, that do not have the same stringent requirements. Our Snow White Lab Pups possess lots of bone, coat and that wonderful lab temperament. Just to clarify, the white shade coat is simply the lightest form of the yellow Labrador Retriever!! There is nothing rare about the white coat. This shade along with black pigment gives our puppies the look we so desire. The AKC standard states — yellows may range in color from fox-red to light cream. We breed for the lightest shade of cream, which oftentimes many refer to as White or White Labradors. Our pups are sold as pets on a limited AKC registration. We as breeders produce yellow labs that range from snow white to cream in color.
