She is such a lovely natured and friendly dog but she was an absolute nightmare around the home. Counter surfing, barking at everything. Her barking got so bad it was affecting her toilet training because we kept having to drag her in the house before she had done her business. That could be at 6am or 11pm. The methods Trav has taught me has improved her barking massively. And just her manners in general. Such an improvement. I booked the lessons so we could get some kind of normality and calm at home. They are awesome brothers and have been a lot of fun. Last Saturday evening Milo, in his puppiness decided to test the laws of gravity and take flight from the back of the car through the window. Milo severely broke his left hind leg up close to his hip. I immediately took him to the animal ER and have nursed him through the last couple of days until we could see a surgeron. That's right, Milo did it up good and needs surgery to repair his leg. A simple cast and rest isn't enough. We only have two options; get it fixed or.I'm not thinking about the "or" right now. Not doing anything will cause a lameness that just wouldn't be fair to him. The orthopedic vet hospital requires payment before procedure and I'm kinda short. Tiny Bailey was struggling to breathe, was going blind and his legs could not take his weight. So Jade Burton made the devastating decision to have the week-old pup euthanased. She was told he had hydrocephalus, when fluid builds up in the skull, causing pressure on the brain. The future was looking bleak for little Bailey but Miss Burton was told to return to the vet a week later to see if he had improved. But at the next appointment, she was told Bailey could not be operated on until he was at least six months old and he had already started to go blind. If I had known more, I would have spent more time looking into health checks.
