White foam A Boxer throwing up white foam can be caused by a buildup of stomach acid in the stomach which becomes foamy when exposed to the air when vomited. Yellow foam A Boxer vomiting yellow foam occurs due to throwing up on an empty stomach or vomiting partly digested food that has bile secretions. The bile secretion appears yellow or green.
